In Pakistan, the creative sector is gaining traction, fueled by a youthful, media-savvy population. With over 180 local TV channels, a rapid rise in content creators and the growth of Video-on-Demand, Pakistan’s media landscape is primed for growth.
Yet, the need for foundational resources and expertise in areas like virtual production and immersive storytelling is clear. By helping design environments that inspire creativity and technical prowess, such as Windsor College’s newly transformed campus in the UK with CUBE Studio's virtual production capabilities, we must equip emerging talent with the skills to make a global impact.
So what is my opinion? “Creating Beyond” is more than a motto; it means laying the groundwork for democratising media access, nurturing raw talent, and building a future for Pakistani creators, broadcasters and production companies that stand on par with global standards and expectations.
Saudi Arabia has seen rapid advances in a short space of time, becoming a destination for sports, events, experiences and creativity. With the completion of the second Athar Festival of Creativity last week it's very apparent that the advertising and marketing space has boomed in the region aligned with Vision 2030. With a series of Gigaprojects such as NEOM, Diriyah, Qiddiya and Red Sea Global there's never been more of a demand for quality products and services.
In Saudi, a market that is equally tech-driven but culturally specific, CUBE Studio sees an opportunity to rethink the traditional role of a studio. By aligning our tech expertise with cultural insight, we aim to support Saudi Arabia’s burgeoning content landscape and bring local stories to a wider stage in a way that’s both globally resonant and culturally respectful.
It’s a reminder that “creating beyond” can mean reinventing what it means to be a production-led studio partner, shaping services to meet the specific needs of each market.
As these industries develop, I envision a production landscape that’s not only global but meaningfully interconnected.
The vision is straightforward: empower creators everywhere to explore the outer limits of what’s possible, and to shape the future of storytelling in ways that truly go beyond traditional constraints.
